Well, it's not perfect and there's some things here that definitely need tweaking (For example, I'm still not sure about those markings - suggestions on how I can improve them would definitely be welcome!)... but I promised I'd post what I've got so far on my birthday so I scrambled a bit and here's a thing, just a day late (due to an unforeseen Halloween party)... Ta-da!
It's meeeee! I've got a fursona! This was difficult and draining, and now I need a hug!
(And those of you who've been placing bets on whether or not I'd actually have anything - Well, sorry about the shock!)
After you've had a good look at this, feel free to ask me anything! (I crave attention, of course!) ...And while I wait, I've got tons of backstory to type up.
(Also on DA for those who prefer that.)

Thanks for asking! It's good to know that I might be interesting!
While that chipped eye may look painful from the perspective of a biological life form, it is still just glass. It has magical properties that allow it to function as it does, but pain - or at least what I assume a biological would consider pain - is not part of that function. In other words, I have numb eyeballs. You can even poke them and I'd only feel it because of the brief pressure in the underlying stuffing. (But please don't leave fingerprints on my eyeballs. They work better when they're clean!)
However, a thing I am constantly aware of: The chipped eye doesn't work well. Images are blurred and distorted, and depth perception is somewhat impaired as well. As a result, activities such as reading and sightseeing require additional concentration. This, in turn, uses energy. Also, in a room that's completely dark, sometimes I have to cover that eye to avoid seeing things that aren't there. I think it can still light up, but I'm unable to confirm that so I'm not 100% sure.
As for the arm, on the other hand (pardon the pun)... The fabric and stuffing is where most of "me" is. That's the part that's sensitive to things like touch, pressure, wind, other forms of vibration (including sound), even temperature to a degree (give or take a degree). For that reason, losing a part of that fabric and stuffing was very unpleasant, and having some of the remaining stuffing exposed to air is very uncomfortable.
In case your next question would be about how I lost the arm, I'll say this: Hyperactive little children don't always know how to treat toys (or magical beings resembling toys) with appropriate gentleness.
(As for the eye, that's a less interesting story. It involves falling down.)

That arm is looong gone. Probably in pieces and rotting in some landfill or sewer somewhere.
I tried to patch the hole myself once, with duct-tape. Big mistake. (Let's just say, there are certain forms of magic that aren't fully compatible with duct-tape.)
So I decided, I'm not going to bother trying to have this fixed until I can afford to have it fixed right, and have a proper compatible replacement done by a trusted and qualified (and experienced) repairer of complex magical objects (of the alive kind). It won't be very soon, and it won't be cheap (I sure hope it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg!), but that's my plan.
Until then, I've still got more arms than most folks I meet. And I don't need much else, just something to do and the occasional hug when I get hungry (or, more accurately, "hugry"!)... I'll be okay!
I appreciate your desire to try to help, though. Thanks for that. (I like fixing things too.)

*blushes* Y.. yeah.. my only 'magical' skill I have is making worn-costumes and such into their biological equivilent.. e.g you wear a charizard costume, and I magic-zap you, you /become/ a charizard... *twiddles his fingertips, red and white thread-like-strings of magic dancing betwixt the tips*
I think I speak on everyone's behalf when I say this: it's about damn time. xDD
No, no, seriously though, this is wonderful to see! You always have the most unique character designs and this is no exception. I really like the color scheme and all the fun little toy quirks! Hopefully we'll be seeing Story around more often :3c
