See, This is why I hate the idea of 'Yer Cutie Mark is yer Destiny' Since it sends the message that 'You're Stuck with a Stupid Mark that dictates what you are for the rest of your Life', which is honestly Why After Season 5, the Series just fell flat for me.
(Seriously AJ, yer Cutie Mark is the only reason you even have a Country accent? Wouldn't that logically mean That The Apples are not real Farm Folk then?)

I think you need to watch this episode to understand more about Cutie Mark...

Hard to follow that, when by that Logic, the CMC should have gotten marks based on what their skills were, which, in Order, is Crafting, Athletics and Song, and if you were paying attention, you would know who I mean.
Instead, they are given what Basically amounts to 'Destiny', that is, a Cutie Mark that is a tri-colored Shield with a Single Symbol in the center, coloured in such a way that it overshadows the Symbol unless you squint a bit.
The show basically says, their marks represent that they gained their marks, in Cutie Marks... Because their group is the 'Cutie Mark Crusaders', So they have to Keep crusading for marks for the rest of their existence, if not for themselves, but for others... You know, their worst subjects.
Why I say that, is because the facts were staring at them right in the face from their first time as the Crusaders, and yet, they missed the point entirely. All the Episodes that involved the CMC, and didn't shoehorn in a Bad lesson or tried making One of them try a serum to give them a mark, kept waving the fact that their skills were right in Front of Them, and yet, they never even acknowledged them... Which I feel was the REAL point of a Cutie Mark. It Wasn't REALIZING your 'Special Talent', it was ACKNOWLEDGING what you considered your Special talent!
