A small illustration I did and colored for my birthday, featuring my kobold in his lab. I plan to do one or two alternative versions where he'll be wearing clothes, so I can show and use them as refs! But I liked the base enough to share it here.

Is it just me, or does he look a little sheepish? Trying to play off some self-consciousness about his size relative to the rest of the lab, to bury the reminder that he's become this other thing, perhaps. Putting on a brave face to make it look like he's got everything under control.
That's just my initial reading of the scene, mind you. I look forward to seeing him geared up!
