The watcher of the wilds, the guardian of the jungles, the avenger of stolen kin, and the slayer of liches.

This is Sazerac, the lizardfolk ranger, and one of the first character I ever built for Pathfinder, D&D's awesome cousin. What started as a mission to take what was stolen from him, avenge his murdered mate, and rescue those of his people held in slavery, he got swept up into a mission to save the world and a game between various fey beings. Not that he really cares about all that overly much, aside from the 'save the world' bit. He isn't out to be a hero, only to do his duty. They aren't pictured here, but he has a pair of raptor companions who travel by his side, the only family he's got left in the world.
Sazerac is a lot of fun for so many reasons, between his culture and his attitude. He grew up on a remote jungle island, among his people, but from an early age he was also exposed to humans due to a trade colony that was established near his village. He's got a lot of reasons to hate them now, but he understands enough of human language to be able to communicate. He also tends to use the wrd 'human' a bit differently than said race does, as in his dialect the word has come to mean a great many things involving honorless warmbloods. Thus, his party is all humans and a kobold, his best friend. This despite the fact that none of the other party members are actually human at all. XD
His other quirks include sleeping in trees, adding to his collection of tattoos, not having a clue what the point of clothing is outside of the icelands or deserts, and mulling over who deserves proper honoring at death and who isn't fit to be eaten. He makes effective use of sword, spear, and bow in battle, and is rather in tune with the natural world. All that good lizard ranger stuff. ^^
On the mechanical side, he's actually a Spell-less Ranger (Kobold Press is awesome and has actually good 3PP content!) with a couple of archetypes. He does a decent job as a frontliner and switch hitter, especially as the main ranged support in the party. Although he will need to find some good armor soon, preferably in magic bracer form so he doesn't have to deal with the accursed clothes getting in his way all the time.
