Ever since she was little, Yvette has shown great interest in the world of the living and got a chance to see it as soon as she signed in the famed Pokemon Combat Academy. Despite the reputation of her species, she was always known as a cheerful person. She was kind towards those who respected her and rutheless towards those who dared to underestimate her. She uses her curses not as a mean of harming someone, but more as a joke and would always make sure no one gets hurt in the proccess, but is willing to cause pain if someone is trying to harm her or her friends. She can always be found in crowded areas where there are a lot of people, especially malls. She speaks with french accent.
One fun fact: she loves those goddamn boots. So much, some even say she probably sleeps in those. The thing is she just feels comfy in them and will even wear them combined with her team's battle uniform.

Banette's name is a combination of bane and marionette, or perhaps 'banter', referring to the way it skips about. Marivaudage is banter on French.
