Once a bandit leader, Haruko was always a strong fighter. Despite his origins, he has a strong sense of justice, and even back then only targeted villages and people who preyed on others.

One fated day, he met the original founders of Ice, Fire, and Shadow magic, and thanks to them, learnt the art himself. He created Earth Magic, becoming the creator of it on Historia, gaining tremendous power, but loosing his sight.
He doesn't need his sight, as he feels people through the vibrations in the ground. His senses are among the keenest of the founders.
His stone scales are also a product of his magic, and can grow to become a stone scale armor. He also uses his fists in combat, when not using Earth Magic.
