I'm quite glad to see you putting your stuff up on FA Skadjer, and this makes for a heck of a first piece. This is utterly breathtaking, and the background must have been maddening to work on and get all those details and reflection in.
I just love how sweet and tender this is, and the pair looks fantastically detailed. This is totally my new desktop wallpaper!

Bah! Catching me asleep so I can't pounce and praise you for the incredible job you did with this commission. Not only did you live up to your own exacting standards of beauty and composition, but the portrayal of both of our characters is incredibly faithful to both our designs and personalities. Absolutely apropos in its completion, this was the most beautiful anniversary gift I could imagine. <3
The world can never have enough beautiful dragon tails!

hehe yes we talked about it on the phone hehe it reminds me that Azusis and Bronz have combs on there tails and they are designing their own zen garden.

I'm impressed.
Okay, I'm more than impressed, but using words like 'beautiful' and 'amazing' just don't cut it. Maybe if we meshed all the words that mean exactly what those two together we'd get something that could describe this? (Either that or just a really long jumbled mess, but that's beside the point.)
On a rating from one to five, this is undoubtedly ten. Love it.

*removes eyes and polishes them. then pops them back in* well i'll be darned my eyes are working. wow...simply wow the details but mostly the reflection work o nthe ground is nearly physically accurate to what it would be in real life. you sir have a talent beyond most of us here.
This is absolutely astounding! I love the designs of the ceramic twirly thingys :P And the reflections of the two dragons are amazing :) And such an intimate picture without being erotic or even hinting at such...well maybe it does but i'm still drinking in that lovely eye massaging candy!
It wasn't all by mouse... I drew and partially rendered the characters in pencil.
From there it was a combination of lots of overlapping semi-transparent brush strokes and various filter effects, which weren't done freehand. The mouse's lack of pressure sensitivity slowed this process down, but there are always more elaborate, less efficient ways to accomplish the same goal.

Ahh, now upon closer inspection I can see now what you mean. Also it helped that I recently saw the tutorial you made on how you created the elaborate patterns the two dragons are standing on. :)
Even so, the mere fact that at no stage of this image's creation did a stylus ever so much as touch the surface of a tablet, is still a testament to your outstanding eye for artistic detailing and your expert understanding of the art programs you used to produce this amazing piece of artwork.
Oh, and you're pretty handy with a pencil too obviously! :D
Top notch stuff Skadjer! :)
