I'm so excited about this necklace! It's taking me a long time to complete, but hopefully I'll have it done soon. It's made with Emerald Ash Borer wings (an invasive species here.. and no, they weren't killed.. as far as I was able to gather, these wings were gathered from pre-deceased beetles) and copper. It makes a really neat noise when you jangle the beetle wings, and it looks almost like scale maille when it lays flat!
