Unsure as to what or who you may find up there, you pull down the stairs to the attic. The room above you still appears very dark compared to the room around you, but you steady your nerves, take a deep breath, and begin your ascent. Your steps sound a bit heavier on the cold, hard wood.
Entering the attic, it takes a moment for your eyes to adjust. The moon peers in through a cracked, rounded window and its mystical light illuminates a strange figure to your side. You take a quick step back and ready yourself to face down with the terrible creature!...Which turns out to be a mannequin as your eyes focus on it and grow used to the room around you.
Letting out a sigh of relief you notice something your eyes were originally drawn to before getting distracted by the figure on your right. In the center of the room lies a wooden coffin, slightly propped open by a sky blue tail that idly sways, softly brushing the floor. Maybe now is a good time to turn back? Or perhaps you could find a friend in the mysterious being that rests in the creepy, dark coffin in the attic.
