I’m working on a 40 page comic story from the Runaway to the Stars universe called Airsled! On the pre-industrial avian home planet, the quartermaster of a struggling island must rush out a shipment of lucrative cargo before the coming storm hits. There’s only one cargo vessel fast enough for the job– airsled, a glider aircraft pulled by flying livestock.

Vrazii the quartermaster is a grouchy diver avian in charge of the launch; and their absentminded servant Piawii is a pygmy avian who would rather be petting seageese in the stables than helping fling a 1,000+ pound sled across the ocean.
