As part of another one of  Gabi's gift exchange programs, I created this for  Wuffnpuff of her character Chance, which also seems to be her Fursona.
I really looked through things she had asked for in the past, and reading a few stories she'd written on her FA page, I figured something with freedom, flight and her character Chance would be a good combination.
I almost despaired on drawing this one in getting the technical layout down, fortunately I fell back on my old technique and did some image Googling. Then I didn't find what I wanted and through a combination of intuition and serendipity I found a good base image on the Wikipedia Seagull page...
The rest I gathered from looking for Skydiving images.
The fact I have to look up reference images for even basic poses, layout and imagery does make me raise questions about how much of an artist I really am, but it is what you get across and whether people see what you're trying to convey that I think really defines an artist.
And Wuffnpuff said she loved this one, so that's what really matters!
