Symphony 39, Movement 1 (Allegro assai) by Franz Joseph Haydn
6 minutes 24 seconds
The earliest of Haydn's Sturm und Drang Symphonies, the Symphony 39 in G-Minor is not well known. But once heard, its nervous main phrase and tremendous use of dramatic pauses is most unforgettable!
Count Hippotaur has been waiting 20 years in order to be able to play this beautiful piece - he received the sheet music in 1989 but has not had the equipment until now to be able to realize this dramatic work by "The Father of the Symphony".
Realized on Casio CT-670 synthesizer, Coloursound wah pedal, Mu-Tron phaser, and Tascam DP-02CF digital 8-track studio between October 4-17, 2009. Best listened to with headphones.
Music composed by 1768 by Franz Joseph Haydn (public domain)

Thanks!
My music has been influenced by Walter/Wendy Carlos and Jimi Hendrix. The organ I grew up with had a flourescent green stop that changed the swell into a wah pedal...needless to say I used that A LOT when playing! I now use a purple wah pedal from the 1970s - my brother bought it for his bass guitar back then, and I still have it!
