I'd like to introduce you all to Songbird, my wife, the lovely Mrs. Inker.
This isn't far off from what she looks like in real life — barring a few rather notable and obvious differences. Those of you who've met her would likely recognize her here, and if you haven't met her, well, now you know pretty well what she looks like. (And yes, she likes horses and ponies and pegasuses and unicorns and centaurs, so somehow she actually approves of the things I draw.)
The other day she was in the kitchen wearing a pretty lavender sweater, looking a lot like this, and I was like OMG she's gorgeous and I have to draw her. And where better to be wearing a nice soft warm sweater than outside in the snow? She doesn't own that purple hat or scarf, but maybe I can fix that for her this Christmas :)
She rocks my socks. Seriously, I get to sleep next to this girl every night and wake up next to her every morning. We've been married ten years now, and she's just as amazing as the day we met. Moreso, really, since she's added not just "wife" but "mother" to her résumé. I don't know how it is that I'm so lucky, but damned if I'm not going to celebrate her awesomeness by doing my best to draw her the way I see her in my mind's eye, gorgeous and sexy and sweet and smart and kind and talented and 1000% more of all the best things a woman can be.
Coincidentally, today is exactly 10 years and 1 month since we were married, so happy one-month-after-our-big-anniversary, love! <3
As usual, this is all vector art, all drawn with a mouse, all done in CorelDRAW. It's almost starting to look like I know what I'm doing :)
* Winter: Snow Bird
* Spring: -
* Summer: -
* Fall: Cider Bird

This is a fantastic picture. The colors and shading are some of the best you've ever done, and you should be proud of that. And besides that, I'm really happy for the both of you.
However, with all of that said... I must apologize, but I can't keep this to myself.
I really feel like that snow shovel should have a longer handle. I mean, could she even reach the ground with it like that?

Heh, of all the many comments both here and on dA, you're the first to mention her bust size, but those are double D's (E's in some brands), no joke. I've seen her lose her iPhone in her cleavage before. She complains about their weight, and while I'm sympathetic --- I really wouldn't change a thing, y'know?
And yes, she's gorgeous and I'm incredibly lucky. In a few days it'll be our 11-year wedding anniversary, and a decade-plus later, I still boggle that I get to wake up next to her every day.
