Just random sketch of a baby Rex, or how I perceive them in my Dinosaur setting. Hur.
Messing around with new tags as well, before the title names. "Arc" being short for "Arcanum" which is the actual name for my Dinosaur setting which is heavily fantasy based. Woo, fun times.
But yeah...he'll be colored at some point. FLUFFY!

Sketch lines. Whenever I draw anything, I start out with a really light color for the base sketch, then go over the base sketch in a darker color of the same tone. If I want to add even more details I go for another sketch over it with ever darker, lol. For armor and things, same thing, all though normally I just stick with one primary color for those and do a sketch layer over it.
If your setting has this kind of creatures, I already dig it wholeheartedly! *^^* This is just so... overly... adorable! Grumpy deadly babies are awesome :)
It's incredible how definite and detailed his anatomy is, considering you call it just a random sketch. And especially his facial features and expression, with the wrinkled snarly nose and the underlying primary sketch lines working as shading for the eyes. It adds so much to his/her character! :)

Ahh sorry just now looked at the file info, so it's a male, heheh ^^
Also I must add that the muscle anatomy you've did on him is just awesome, I can't see a single line out of place, not defining some crucial and anatomically called for volume of muscle or bone... Although his anatomy may be perceptive (we don't really know precisely how the dinosaur body worked, afterall), but it is easily the piece that feels the most anatomically right and vivid of all that I've seen on FA for some time.
Would really LOVE to see him colored! *^^*
