This is Brian Willis, son of the former Marine Allan Willis. Brian grew up on the beaches of Hawaii with his military dad and surfer mom. However, while he shares the physique and size of his dad, he took to the favored activity of his mom. He became an avid surfer when he was a kid, and spent most of his free time on the waves.

By the time he is 21 years old in 1966, Brian is one of the top surfers on the island. He has won numerous competitions, and makes his living as a surf instructor on the Big Island.

Brian's dad isn't worried that his son didn't join the Marines. After all, Allan Willis worked hard to make sure his son had a better life. The old Marine always shows up to his son's surf competitions to cheer him on.
