you just have to do it quick-ish.
The Undo plays huge into it, since you'll be doing alot of that before you get the lines where you actually want them

another tip is ink new lines on another layer on top. once, satisfied, merge down

Thanks so much for the tips! I'll have to keep practicing. One issue I constantly fight with is not relaxing enough, I try to make everything look 'too perfect'. This might help with that. :)
