Unlike most characters I come up with, this one has a specific background. This character is inspired, and designed for, the Lunar Academy universe by  lionkinglover12

Barton was once a simple badger, living as one would a normal life. That is, until an opportunity came along, a once-in-a-lifetime job, to help teach at the Lunar Academy. He pounced upon the opportunity first chance he got, eager to help and teach his students.


Which is the entire opposite of your typical LA faculty member. This intimidated him, somewhat, and saw him slide down the 'food chain' so to speak, to the point where he would more than likely end up joining the students in whatever plan a teacher had on any day ending in Y. He tried to find something simple, something entirely 'harmless' but just enough to get him on the good side of the faculty. However, an attempt at utilising plush magic went entirely wrong, forcing Barton to abandon his plan and just 'stay where he was'. Especially since the magic left him scarred in a literal sense.

After handling a powerful amulet imbued with plush magic, Barton walked away, with his belly and right arm turned full-plush and a zipper-pouch placed right on his belly. He wears clothes and gloves to mask these changes, to keep anyone from seeing, for fear they might try and take advantage, or someone tries to complete the transformation. He even swore that, should he end up entirely plush, he would resign from the academy out of principle.

It doesn't help that now and then, the residual magic inside him tries to force its way further in, forcing the badger to keep it from going any further. And sometimes, he ends up feasting on polyfill instead of a lot of regular food. A hard task, indeed.
