Who are you?
You had been purged of frailty; granted purpose and certainty of a kind sought by many and found by few. You were a protector, a steward of past glories unimaginable to your former peers. Is that not what you wanted?
What value do you see in those memories? Do you think anyone remembers you? Do you think anyone would believe you, if you told them who you used to be? That person is dead, serpent. No amount of nostalgia will bring them back.
Who will you be: Guardian? Or Scholar?
Couldn't get the brain to do words in quite the way I wanted so this accompaniment is shorter and grimmer than I'm happy with.
