Wanted to draw this morning, and it's been howling wind all night and very cold and rainy lately. As with most of my sketches I just improvise as I go, so I guess it influenced this drawing a bit. As always, the background is slapped on and quite bad. The taur itself I think looks okay. I decided to color on a whim, and I think the lighting and style turned out very nice. However I didn't stylize the background the same way so I think it detracts quite a bit from how nice the taur looks....
Overall, I think this is quite nice for just a 3 hour stress-relief drawing. I really like the lighting style, it seems almost comic like.

As an aside, I am a little bit conflicted with my gallery... I feel as if I draw more than I do, but the gallery is quite scarce. Each drawing takes multiple hours, for only a single drawing that gets very little attention due to how all the tagging system works... for example, since this is a reptilian (other) drawing with no fetish themes, nobody is really going to be searching for drawings like this one specifically, although they may appreciate it... In this sense, it would be wiser to just tag this as a dragon or something. But I guess this is just how working on a site so awash with content is.
