A lot of people like to focus on the swallowing part of vore, and they seem to think it'd be pleasant to swallow a whole live squirming creature. But ummm ouch?? lol I once thought a chip was going to puncture my heart. I cried.
Well Mort is less of a sissy, but I imagine the only pleasant part of swallowing a boney little human would be the end part when they get squeezed out of the throat and into the stomach where they belong...
I'm sure this page will look even nicer when its colored. The backgrounds are kind of sad when sketched. XD
If you'd like to help me reach my next goal on Patreon, I'll be able to start working on getting pages colored again. It helps me out and gets you more art! :)

It largely depends on how streamlined the thing is you're swallowing. Most carnivores are designed to swallow large chunks whole - they don't chew, just rip and tear. If the item they're swallowing is small, streamlined, or doesn't otherwise have too many lumpy bits, it'll go right down. Sharp bits? That'd probably hurt. Large lumpy bits? Discomfort but it won't stop peristalsis.
The wriggly bit just amplifies that. Streamed prey wriggling not only might feel pleasant but it helps them go down. Watch herons and egrets dealing with live fish some time - some of them seem to quite enjoy live prey. Others prefer to kill or stun them first.
For omnivores and herbivores, they're designed to chew, and they much prefer stuff going down in bite-sized bits. Stuff that'd be agonizing for a deer - or a human - would go down smoothly if you're talking about something like Mort. ^.^

That gulp IS delightful, but I get your point...at the same time, it's vore! We often ignore things like "comfort, "breathing," and "physics."
But yeah, I can remember trying to swallow an ice cube that was a little too big, slipperiest thing you can imagine, IMMEDIATELY regretting it. Ow...
I'm looking forward to getting back on the Patreon. December! The electrician decided to gouge me for another grand after I figured out how to get things balanced this month.
