Meowstic, or Modi that Nova like to call him, is a formal student from Pokemon Academy, and work there as a teacher assistant. Modi usually your typical teacher that doesn't care that much with everything, except if something important to him, which catch his attention. When he doesn't have that much to do, he usually does some patrolling around the school with Nova, and both of them are sort of ok working together. Back in the day Meowstic once wanted to be a famous rescue hero, and had all the skills he needed to reach it. But something happen that bother him, and kept it personal for a long time. Now he only just care about going to work, and do barely nothing with life. Nova is sort of the person that he care about everything, even though he tend to be hard on her all the time. Modi is the only friend that Nova have, and she always invite him to stay at her place if he get lonely. Modi is cool with that, course he had to deal with her Three daughters that bother him if he going to marry their mother one day.
