Lugia in a Bind (Story)
Pokemon; a mystery to mankind since the dawn of history. They have existed ever since time has been recorded, and some are said to go even further than that...
Tonight, we have a special guest on this nature show. It is a mystery... a fable, thought to be fake or long forgotten in the sea. Legends of it existed for ages on orange islands... now revealed with the help of research one by Team Rocket's leading scientist.
Random Professor: I was there when it happened... I hope I never have to relive that. It was terrible... I had never felt so much pressure.
Another Professor: The first time we found one... it was a female and her young. The father was missing... Female Lugia are very protective of their young. We only know so little about them... before now we didn't know they had genders r reproduced.
Narrator: The lab was smashed and cut in half as the Lugia tore through Team Rockets observation deck.
Random Researcher: Legends said that Lugia has enough power to tople houses s by flying by... but the observatory was made of bullet proof glass and titanium alloy... When it attacked, it all bent and melted like butter! Everyone was scrambling for emergency evacuation.
--Now-- This was the first documented recording of the Legendary pokemon in its glory and might but researchers have paid billions to find out more about it.
Jessy: At first, we were trying to capture it for our own gain, but now everyone wants to know about it... I don't think they understand why it stays in the ocean... my God... It nearly killed my Arbok.
James: We were sent to analyze the research from headquarters, but this couldn't have been prepared for. Jessy... Meowth and I... we got hit straight on by its power. The sheer force was enough to pierce a hole through the ship! Before we recognized what had happened we were rocketing hundreds of feet down from the sky!
This is a documentary team Rocket did since they managed to find some footage for the legendary pokemon. Giovanni was furious that it had broken out... or at least he appeared to be. No one except for the scientist who worked at the observatory had been fired. He really was determined to not let the opportunity slip to gain money from this.
Theme parks... movies, a museum with a 3d model of the Lugia and its child... he went all out. If it hadn't worked he probably would have gone bankrupt, but the stocks and investments shot sky high! Everyone wanted to know what the legendary pokemon rumored to exist for so long looked like.
Random researcher: we were trying to figure out how it could keep its mountains of power stored so well and elude even ghost-type pokemon radar! It was just when we made headway that Lugia had been moved to a different section of the ship... unauthorized and the child were split up. The only person who had access to the override is sad to have disappeared at sea that day.
...The data was barely salvageable. We were already trying to record as fast as we could. Briefly after the Lugia was caught we applied a sedative to keep it from hurting itself.
In our research, we found out that Lugia doesn't keep its power to itself at sea bu spreads t ou to a theoretically large swarm of pokemon!
Another researchers: There were numerous suction like imprints on the Lugia's skin. To large to be tentacruel. We believe that there is a swarm of pokemon deep in the sea that actually feeds off of Lugia's Psychic energy. Whatever kind of pokemon it is, it has no regard for "personal space". As we did an X-ray we found numerous suction cup-like marks inside Lugia almost as if it had eaten something that didn't agree with it. We thought that it was a predator at first, but that didn't explain how the female and her child survived. For now, we've decided to name them willoworms based off of the suction like imprints they leave behind.
Another researcher: We were so used to nature having the mother around the child... but to our surprise, it looked like either a father or older brother was taking care of the baby.
