I suppose you could combine the two to make ‘Hydrefus’, but let’s not confuse Welsh any more than it needs to be. :P
Despite not being a huge fan of the cold, I must say that late autumn really does bring out the best of Mother Nature in the Upper Afan Valley. Warm shades of yellow, brown, orange, contrasted against the deep green pine trees really does make for spectacular viewing, in this humble hound’s opinion. Before long, the climax of nature’s annual opera will reach an end, and the leaves will descend, but I take two pieces of consolation from this air of death. First, that it shall not be very long before the first delicate shoots of spring begin to peek out from beneath the cold bark and the still earth. Second, that before too long, it will once again by Christmas! ^__^
Happy Autumn, everyone, and I hope you enjoy!
