Well, this was a fun little experiment. This is my acoustic fingerstyle arrangement of the song "Becoming Popular (The Pony Everypony Should Know)” from season 2 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. My personal favorite song from the series sung by the one and only best pony, Rarity! I put this together, like, 5.5 years ago when I was much bigger into the pony craze. Unfortunately, I just never really got good enough at playing fingerstyle to replay this with the consistency I would have liked. Still working at it, even though I've been playing guitar for almost 19 years O_o. 'Tis a lifelong journey. So I never sat down to record it. But, in this case, I’ll let technology do everything for me!

This arrangement is put together using Ample Sound’s Ample Guitar T II which is (to me) a fantastic sounding Taylor 714CE. So this is all MIDI guitar samples. This was a lesson in trying to make sampled guitar sound as realistic as possible given the articulations available. Honestly, it's a pretty cool VST instrument. Hopefully it sounds legit, but feedback is always welcome!
