So, this is uh, Telseck. He is, perhaps, not so much a deity, but more of an incredibly powerful shaman. He is connected to the spirits of earth, including ones alive, but more so the dead ones. Telseck prefers to conjure up the souls of animals who have passed to do his natural bidding, and learns all of the past from them. He is works with decomposition of the earth, dealing more with fungi, mosses, and microorganisms than the colorful foliage. Mushrooms are a sure sign of his work. Though, perhaps his favorite of natural features is a parasitic flower called an Indian Pipe. It's a leaf-less flower without any colors pigments. The whole plant is white, with a touch of pink. http://www.herbdatanz.com/ipc1.jpg http://www.ibiblio.org/botnet/Flowe.....ndianPipe2.jpg It is said that if one were to come across such a flower, they would be in protection of Telseck until they left the woods.
Telseck is a mixture of an Elk, a wolf, and a crow. His antlers are ever-growing, and are usually adorned with sprouting mushrooms. The feathers which hang from the antlers belong to each of his servants: Ten albino crows, who are very much alive, and very rarely seen. The skull which he wears around his neck is also a crow, though from the first black crow to ever exist on the earth. Before black crows, all of them were white. Telseck felt sorry for the birds. They could not hunt well, they could not blend in well, and they most certainly did not have cunning. Telseck chose a flower which did, of course, happen to be the Indian Pipe, and bestowed it's beauty and colors on the crows, who are now forever a brilliant black color. He gave them cunning and wit, and they became his servants of the forest.
I will most likely change his jewelry, as I do not like its complete randomness.
I'm lucky I even finished this, and unfortunately I rather rushed a last bit of it, as I wanted to make the deadline, and well, I feel like crap. To hell with his story, I'll write that tomorrow. I've got to get some sleep. I'm going to like, pass out.
And I DO NOT like how this turned out. >:(

reminds me very much, of my own character. lol, the the sense that its a mix of fur, wings, and antlers. Wolvie, is a deamon nephilim forest spirit. shes wolf, dragon-deamon, and elk. although, in reality, she looks much more like a wolf with wings, and elk antlers. shes asthetically pleaseing. ^^ anyway, good job on this, even though you personally arent happy with it, and there are parts that look "funny" its still a great piece of art, and much better than most people can do. i'd be damn proud of myself, if i could produce art like this.
