I have a story that I am working on that involves making sort of a contemporary set of Egyptian Gods. I only have two of them drawn to my satisfaction.. Not sure if I will post them here or not. Anyway In designing them I thought it would be prudent to take some of the major symbols in Egyptian Hieroglyphs. For the most part there is nothing new about this. It’s a stylized scarab. I did add what could either be seen as another set of legs or antenna (the latter being what they are) and unintentionally made the shape of an Egg. Which works considering it’s a symbol of life of rebirth and their mythology started with a world egg. Anyway I have blabbed on enough. Enjoy everyone.
