I had to try again with the scale drawing on another dragon, this time Sol’Aryon’s sire, Vuulcinius, blowing his fire breath, as if in a battle. You don’t want to make him angry... he doesn’t calm so easily in the end.
What surprised me, however, was that I took this picture with my scanner app, and THIS turned out. It looks amazing and I see more of the scale detail that I put in, plus more emphasis on the colors. I really LOVE how this turned out. Though I feel maybe I could do better with the fire breath.
