Once in a while Bandit goes into Abilene to visit his relatives. This is his sister Denise, aka "Ace", an ex airline pilot who is now into air racing, stunt flying and WW-II re-enactments. She is a WW-II era aircraft mechanic who buys and restores vintage aircraft, often leasing her toys to film makers, who find running airworthy craft hard to come by anymore.
