I guess this is more or less my Assault lance. Took me a few months to get around to finishing them, but I think they came out nicely!
The Champion was my attempt to make it look more like the MechWarrior3 Version, which didn't have a retarded center of balance, the legs didn't have enourmous pieces comming off the back, and bulkier shins. I also gave him a bit more of a canopy.
The Banshee, is standard, just angled the gun down a little more.
Now, with the Stalker and the Panther, me and the boyfriend bought Army Painter Quickshade. The Stalker was my first use of the stuff, and I hadn't taken into consideration that the quickshade would really darken it so much, thus why the whites are gray, and the blue is a darker blue.
The Panther however, is my second mech with quickshade, and after putting on extra bright base colors, the quickshade really works slick! Made painting this little fella fun! He's also the only miniature in the introductory box set that looked good enough to paint.
One more lance to go!
