Almost every resident of Ultra Megalopolis has a Poipole as a companion, but not all of them battle. Some are kept as pets and the like, but this little one is instead treated as a baby. They even have special baby items designed to match the Ultra Recon Squad! Makes you wonder who this Poipole belongs to...

So, there's a bit of history with this one. I had drawn this piece back in 2017, when Poipole had only recently been announced. I was proud of everything except the background, which left me despondent whenever I tried to fix it and getting nowhere.

So it sat in my folder for a year until I decided to take another shot at the background. While I think it's still lacking, it's better than what it was originally.

Nonetheless, I hope you all like it ^^
