Ahh you aren't going to believe it either... at my theater, there was a drawing to win a life size Simba plush. And I won him! I sold him years later to help finance a trip to California, but I miss him. :) He was almost as big as me!
I hope they show it on the big screen again someday - it's awesome in the theater. I know they showed it in IMAX... but i missed it.

I'd love to see it back in theatres someday. Did you get to see the broadway version? I went to it and it was absolutely AMAZING...though I think the guys at the souvenir booth though I was crazy when I bought nearly everything they had...and wasn't a 13 year old girl. XD
They play is BEAUTIFUL-- only one or two of the songs added are naff, but "Shadowland" and "Endless Night" has often sucker-punched people emotionally and their use of Lebo M's ""He Lives In You" is brilliant.

Oh the music is incredible! I got the "Rhythm of the Pridelands" soundtrack when it came out before the play, second movie... and became a fan of Lebo M at that point. I was glad that they re purposed a lot of the music for the play.

Actually I agree with the other commenter. >.>
Dunno about Vitani (Ms. "I could actually be a really interesting character if I had more screen time!") who along with convinced the rest of the Outlanders with the Mary Sue. Maybe because the the the only guys either were a) dead or b) converted, too. ;-9
