I'm thinking maybe I'll keep her white-furred, with black stained arms/hands
maybe stained legs/feet too
But also probably like... stained belly/thighs/crotch
And tie the staining into the "corruptive influence" bit of the idea
like she'd actually rub off the black ink stuff on things she touched

I was kinda considering maybe she got selected or called on or something as like
a servant/hand of their god's wrath/destruction?

Sort of a real spooky "guardian angel"
Maybe some duality themes where the god is normally "good" but returns aggression against its followers with brutality?

a walking avatar of "salt the earth" revenge or something
but isn't really Keen On That

like she got turned during Something Bad and unexpectedly survived the self-destructive bloodlust that entails and/or got nursed back to health by her order
So she's like
Sort of a "saint" but also a symbol of like
Corrupting, hate-fuelled violence and martyrdom?
Which she doesn't particularly enjoy
Some sort of "sanctioned sin" kinda thing
So she's "calmed down" but still has those monster-y violent sinning instincts in there
