I once saw a rabbit police officer shooting an unarmed carrot. The officer later said it had been maliciously staring at him while he was eating some ham ice cream and that he feared it would give him vitamin A poisoning.
A week later researchers found out that liver ice cream has much more vitamin A than tomatoes and they advised people to refrain from hunting polar bears to harvest their livers. Livers don't thrive in our mild climate anyway, in contrast to avocados.
