Gullet of A DragonWolf
Decided to work on a mawshot for NightStar because she needed a good example. In the past, I originally based hers off a typical canine maw. With this new piece I've decided Night has a more lizard style maw. Nothing in particular but it helps make it seem more cushion and yet still menacing with her canine style rows of teeth.
Whether she has good intentions or not while looking at the viewer is up to the imagination.

PS she doesn't have saliva showing because she only produces saliva when she needs to. Otherwise it's dry soft internal flesh :D

So beautiful! I love how it matches with her marking colors! I can imagine both glowing! Would be a good explanation as to why her markings glow cause it cause from her insides! At least, thats a theory I figured could work lol.

Pretty spot on, actually. If she's happy her insides and markings will usually glow at the same time ^^
Its basically the equivalent to a happy cat that purrs. Of course if she's angry her insides will glow as well but much more intense due to fire energy build up for a possible attack.

That's awesome! They are like mood rings! I could imagine them glowing different colors depending on her mood ^^. I can imagine if she devours someone she hates, her belly heats up like an oven.
Yeah, that what I figured lol. She looks rather playful here and not that aggressive. She really has a very cozy and beautiful maw! ^^

haha I considered different colors but ended up just keeping the normal fire gradient color. I think it matches her fur color best. I still wanna dabble in a character that does color shift through various colors one day ^^
And yeah her insides get exceptionally hot inside when she's really mad. It can go from a comfortable 70F to roughly 1,000F in just minutes XD

Yeah, that's true. Her current fur color matches her patterns extremely well. Really gives her a beautiful majestic huntress look ^^
Yeah, I'd imagine digestion is the last thing prey have to worry about with her lol. That's very hot indeed! Definitely wouldn't want to be small and pis her off!
Regardless, she still looks adorable and huggable even when grumpy lol. I'm pretty sure she's the type to love caring attention, but is too much of a prideful pred to show that it melts her feels lol.

I would always be giving her hugs and she would probably get annoyed lol XD. Although, don't get me wrong, she is death to those who mess with her.
