My deepest condolences to you, Sarah, I'm sorry for your loss.

Atleast Sham's in a good place now, Free'd from the horribleness of cancer, It's truly terrible, I hope to god one day we will beat it so we don't have to loose our closest friends to the likes of it.

Hope atleast you're doing good, regarding the situation, If you need someone to talk to or such, I'll be avalible for you, stay strong dear.

I'm sorry to hear your loss, I do know of how you feel since I went through the same scenario of losing my dog, Cheza, back in September of this year.
We do know that she will be in a better place. *hugs*

So sorry to hear. It's always so tough. They're members of the family, and in so many ways they're better than us. Sometimes I think of them like real angels on Earth. They are so good, they harbor no evil or ill will. All they want is to make us happy.

I really feel for you, but I'm sure you'll always carry her with you. It's the best we can do...

So sorry to hear of your loss of your friend. They do grow to be such a part of our lives that their passing is painful. I always try to remember my dog Buddy in the summers at my parents' home where i could let him run in the county parkland next door (all wooded and a beach along the Hudson River). You should do the same for Shamrock, remember the fun places he loved to run and play in. It balances the loss with the joy of good memories.

Take the time you need to grieve and don't feel bad if it comes back at unexpected times over the next few months or years. It is just a measure of your capacity to love.
