Vampire Robbers do not have an immunity to it, however some Severblight Robbers themselves sometimes find they're able to handle the virus better than others, leaving them able to keep some of their intelligence rather than going feral. Other Severblight may have been unable to handle it so well, yet find they're unable to pass it.
This basically allows people who own or want a Severblight Robber to be able to be a bit more flexible with things.
★Can shooters have bent tail plates/have them grow in irregularly?
As long as it doesn't cause confusion regarding trait rarities, see no reason why not.
★Is it possible for someone to chop up StarRobbers and Frankenstein them back together?
Sure thing! Only as long as the robber parts are all robbers. Can't Frankenstein other stardragon parts onto it.
★I have a question about the one SD Ryn and Lily made, there was a lot of irritation around it because of it being a semi similar design to an established design already, is there gonna be any kind of crackdown on that sort of thing now, a lot of people make SDs directly off of characters from series they like and I'm wonderin if anything will come of it or is it just like "if people complain we gonna take stuff down (like that design) but if they dont then free game"
There is no plan for a crackdown no. At the end of the day the primary issue when it comes to copywritten characters is not about similarities but about commercial use versus private use.
The people who make fan-inspired stardragons are not trying to profit off their designs. There is no money being lost for Blizzard if someone makes a Widowmaker inspired stardragon with their MYO. Where as on our design end, we can take steps to ensure designs being made to sell are more general inspired by than a close similarity.
But in regards to individuals design options, the designs they are making is for their personal use and not for profit. So at this time there is no crackdown planned and it's unlikely there will be one.
★If a pregnant stardragon mother, the child, or both died during childbirth/conception is there a chance either of them could be revived as a robber?
(Some specific examples;
- Mother dies before carrying child to term, but is revived as a robber, child is born
- child is stillborn, and then revived either in utero or after birth into a robber
- complications during childbirth are fatal to mother and child, but both are revived)
The child would not become a robber. The youngest a Robber would be is 16. (Though insert the usual, 'lore is not mandatory', feel free to have a 2 year old Robber if it so pleases you)
The mother, however, could definitely come back as a Robber. I believe someone has had an Uncommon Robber with something along this line, and tied in the stomach mouth to something related to the birth- or lack there of.
★To add a clarification question to the "robbers are 16 and over thing" is there any lore justification for that? Are children just exempt from revival?
The original incarnation of Robbers was created via Helgin to give stardragons a chance to right the injustice of their death. Usually in the method of seeking out those who killed them and bringing justice down upon them. In Jo'Arca canon as well, robbers tend to exist for only as long as their natural lifespan would have allowed...which then if they have not accomplished their tasks or lose focus they will begin to degrade into madness becoming feral.
Hyth found such a second chance to be...not really fitting for a child or infant to undergo. They would not have the capacity or ability to really seek vengeance for their loss of life...and subjecting them to a state of perpetual childhood until feral madness seemed more a punishment to someone who had already suffered much by losing their life so early.
And while Basut likely has his eyes on the possibility of spreading his own robber influence to the younger stardragons...he has not yet wanted to test his luck as it was only by Hyth's grace he was spared. So stealing one of the children meant to go to her is well...not a bear he wishes to poke at this exact time. Perhaps in the future though.
