Yep, I'm in a drawing kick I suppose. Decided to color this old sketch of Colby (Buizel) and Swiss (Shinx) I drew a few months ago. I'm not particularly thrilled with the shading or the rather simplistic background, but it's still nice and I'm glad to be able to make some fanart for one of my stories that has nothing to do with a thumbnail!

Not only that, but it's the convenient size of 1280x1024, which fits nicely as a wallpaper on some monitors and can be resized to fit others. Too bad it doesn't fit mine. :( Oh well, heh.

And in case you didn't know, the Buizel is Colby. His heart was once broken by another Buizel, Brie, who didn't love him the way he loved her. Part of his tail was snapped off by his mother when she fought him and basically disowned him, leaving him all alone.

Just when he thought he had nothing left to live for, a dear friend from his youth, Swiss, stopped him from taking a drastic action and gave him the friendship he thought he'd never have again.

But it wasn't just friendship that Swiss grew for Colby... she also began falling in love with the poor, abandoned Buizel, the Pokemon that gave her excitement again in the world and the one she realized how much she missed after spending their childhood apart.

Now Colby hears the words he's longed for... the words he never heard with Brie... "I love you, Colby."
