I've had this sitting in my submissions tab because I've been trying to think of just what to say to such a beautiful piece.
The dark tones with the contrasting light ones is so gorgeous; and how you were able to soften those dark ones so they don't stand out too harshly with the backdrop is lovely.
The highlights of fur and the glowing embers from the maw are also highly noteworthy.
Such a lovely dance of colors on the page that really gives it that extra "oomph".
