If you've seen me at a convention recently I was probably wearing this badge, so I felt I ought to show it off and put up the full story behind it.
A good friend of mine that goes by KD Nightstar makes a webcomic called CarryOn. It's a fun slice-of-life thing that evolved over time to the point that it's now an adventure/intrigue story about a contested line of royal succession. One of the factions involved is the Hyena Brigade, a band of mercenaries in formal service of the Duchess of Rackenroon. I was surprised to find myself one day drafted into the Brigade. I didn't think I was eligible thanks to not being a hyena and all, but Nightstar took care of that too. So yeah, I appear in the story as a military enlisted grunt whose specialty is nuclear engineering, and who loves writing and talks a lot. Almost unsettlingly accurate, actually.
Nightstar has recently begun porting her comic strips over to her FA account, but the full comic is online and updates M-W-F on http://www.hirezfox.com/km/co/ with more goodies available on her Patreon.
