
My first time weathering anything, I think it turned out well.
I used Vallejo brand acrylics, I like how the brush strokes disappear as they dry.
Also, I installed a diesel sound decoder and mounted a speaker in opening at the back of the cab, and modified the tender's drawbar area to support a coupler instead.

I didn't trust drive chains to stay on in this scale, so I made it look neglected instead.
My story for this engine is that the owners couldn't afford to replace it with a diesel, so they converted it with parts they had on hand. :P
