Emotional Description:
Bellachay was born into a pampered lifestyle. Since her grandfather owned Johto’s largest book publishing company, the Doppler family spared no expense in making sure their lives were comfortable. Yet despite her luxurious upbringing, she did not develop the snobby, holier-than-thou attitude befitting of most spoiled children. She instead was a curious girl, much like her sister, but was curious about very different things.

Being a ghost-type family living among mortals, they were torn between their occult ancestry and the modern marvels of the world around them. Bellachay’s grandfather, Azariah Doppler, has tried to bridge the gap between the two worlds since his own youth. The Doppler Patriarch soon passed that task onto his granddaughters, Bellachay and her sister, Clarissa. While Clarissa chose the path of the real world the girls were forced to live in, Bellachay opted instead to delve into the world of the occult. In doing so, she quickly found herself completely absorbed in the culture and history to a point where she had mastered many forms of divination.

Though Bellachay and Clarissa are very different spirits, the bond between the two of them is inseparable. Bellachay has a deep love for her sister that has caused some to question whether it is merely love as a sibling or something more. As such, some of the behavior she exhibits towards Clarissa is frowned upon, but continues without pause or objection.

Once she and her sister came of age, their parents wished only the best education for their able minds and resilient spirits, finding the PCA in neighboring Kanto to be the proper choice. Bellachay quickly opted to room with her sister in the Ghost Tower, all that remains from the terrible fire years ago that claimed the lives of many students and faculty.

She is generally kind toward fellow students, even a little bubbly at times, with a surprising amount of innocence for someone who is embedded within her own dark magic. Though she is never rude, she does tend to shy away from those whose spirit are shrouded in darkness, which tends to make her a hermit when she’s in the dorms. She is somewhat popular, as she offers divinations in exchange for a proper amount of payment—which is almost never money.
