Which were primarily the 30s but both Fleischer and Disney were working at the same time in the 20s. Just trying to say that the typical rubberhosing wasn't there "a lot longer than Disney". Disney may have contributed to the decline of it, but he'd been there from damn near the start of the whole thing.
