Heh, you know that I'm reply to people that got my interest? I just curious of opinions of other people and sometimes they mistake this as pestering or offense. Yeah I such weird men who always question others and it seems that thing got on someone nerves.

Okay, it's hard to pick sides here, but I have to say this: both Addac and Marine are right, but at the same time they're both wrong. Marine have all right to protect the village as he's see fit, but shut themselfs from the rest of the world is not the wisest choice, he was jus making everyone a prisioner of their own homes. Addac on the other hand, trully had good intentions, but dind't had the best way of shownig it. When I first read the comic on SmackJeeves I did agree with Addac and was really hoping that he would win the duel, and there's a thing, that duel shouldn't have happend at all, they where friends at some point, if only Marine where willing to listen and Addac where more patient none of this would ever happend, they could have sort things out, togheter.


What I'm trying to say is "The means doesn't justify the end", every one has a choice, and they have chose wrong.

Well, let's just say that acting like a psycho don't get you on good graces of your people. But elders should know that after exile Addac may have appear again. And Hansk's words about exile of Addac become a truth at some point, when he says that exile don't do good on character of Addac. Also it seems Addac accept his inner hatred toward elders and
may Xi's family. And he become more brutal and extreme. Other point how those react who consider Addac a friend or family?

One could also argue that denying yourself to the reality of their situation and putting more worth than it should into traditions is crazy too. Depend a lot on the perspective of the person.

Thats the fun of their dynamic, Addac is the full embodiment of "I will achieve my goals no matter the cost", while Marine is "We stick to our traditions and cultural identity no matter what" both at their core can be incredible self destructive, it just happened to be that this time Marine was in the position of the majority. It does beg the question of it really worth trying to save people that may not what to be saved at all.

Regarding Marine and Addac relationship I wouldnt put as frienship, as Marine is WAY older than Addac, him belonging to the generation around Xi and Hasnk, but more of elder that maybe Addac looked up in some moment in his life.

Cutting the point of lacertia mean dishonor that lacertia? Also sudden iceblock may appear from Xi in face of Addac and give some dejavu at some point.
