I see. I never saw this Sandokan tv show, but maybe I will check it out.
I wonder if it could beat the bondage scneario overload of the UK cartoon show Legends of Treasure Island, where in allmost every single episode one or more characters had been tied up

Oh lol your okay I was just pointing that out in the episode. I don't know why the animators did that, to have his hands tied in front. Makes more sense to have his hands tied behind his back so escaping would be much more difficult to pull off. I mean they could have easily escaped if the tiger turn around and untied the ropes that where binding Sandokan's wrists behind his back.

I sadly never had seen the tv show in the days, but this fanart was inspired by the youtube clip posted by trabamondi. But the tiger on the left indeed had his hands tied in front of him, so the logic was not really given, because he could have easily undone the knot on Sandokans bindings...

Hehe yep I remember watching the episode a few years ago on Youtube and thought to myself: "Yeah what? You guys could have easily escaped from that" but it was still a cleaver scene, lots of dialogue went into detail of their predicament of being tied up and held against their will. Even a rat crawled into the scene and started feeding off of the scraps of food....was actually kinda cute now thinking of it^^

I've never heard of the Sandokan animation before so that's another new one I've discovered through your work and from the costumes of the characters I'm guessing possibly involves an India type setting. I also imagine this isn't at all an uncommon situation for Sandokan to have found himself in, and in any case a nice little scene and piece of artwork from you. I'll have to see if I can find anything of this show on youtube.
