Spying on a beautiful gray wolf through the trees at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle.
Due to the design of the exhibit, this is one of the most challenging animals to shoot, and I was able to get this once-in-a-lifetime shot as he paused for a split-second to watch me through the tall evergreens.

Thanks! Yeah this exhibit is extremely hard to get a good shot of the wolves, and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time, which a lot of wildlife photography is about. I don't even think this shot is possible anymore because there's big shrubs now in between where I'm standing here and the trees!
Captures like these are what make so exciting and fun to be a wildlife photographer.
