Anthro-Car Fertilization & Fetal Development
Hey guys!
I need to be doing more of this lore stuff, I know. I just get so side-tracked with the boobies and the butts and the balls.. they're all so distracting you know?! But I need to draw this stuff out, especially when I have such detailed ideas suchs as these..
Tell me, do you guys enjoy information like this? I mean, it's gotta be at least a little meaningful to know where all these characters I draw that you fap to came from right? lol
Right here and now I want to copyright the phrase 'car egg' lol.

We're talking about machines and computers here too, they're always going to be more efficient. : P Plus keep in mind, how long would you want your car to be immobile if you owned a girl car and the neighbors' Camaro knocked her up one night out in the driveway?

Lol come to think of it it does look like one of those medical posters you see posted in hospital waiting rooms doesn't it? I guess in this case it would probably be posted in mechanic garages lol. It takes a lot to be a mechanic in this universe, you almost have to have a PHD in cars.
Uh actually, this is what an unborn car development really look like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAA.....Q&t=1s
You do an excellent job explaining each stage in the reproduction of cars. It's like something out of a science fiction book. It also reminds me of the Mhrm Mhrm (might've misspelled this) and the Chenjesu (both are sentient, yet inorganic, species of life) from the video game series, Star Control.
In my story, Race Within, humans can choose to have nanobots injected into their bodies and transform into cars, but only at Transformation Centres (it's a safeguard against wreckless transformations in public. You can imagine how violent this would become if people were automutants capable of morphing into vehicles at any time and place.); but your work here is about cars with the ability to procreate.
The diagram of the robotic egg cell is my favourite part of this. It shows how the layers of it are there for building the different parts of the car as it grows. The drawings of the different growth phases are excellently done. It's just like how humans and other mammals grow inside of their mothers' wombs, but with an automotive twist.
The level of creativity in this is on a Ph.D level. Fantastic job!

Hey there Quincy, firstly thank you for such a detailed comment, if I got more comments like this here I'd probably post more often. Now to what you said.
I hate to say it, makes it sound like a crutch. Honestly though, as soon as I introduced nanites into the lore it simplified everything greatly but also made things seem more practical. Makes their bodies act more like organic bodies. Nanites to repair damage on a microscopic level, nanites to gather steel/plastics/glass/ect from the cars digestion to add to the body and make it 'grow' as they age up from babies.
Sounds nice, I'd like to be in that stories world. Love that transhumanism stuff.
Thanks, yeah I loved designing the egg. It's just enough material to form a embryo or pre-embryo. The rest of the way it's taken from the mother's diet like with mammals, so like humans a pregnant car is hungry as fuck all the time.. or I guess in this case extremely fuel inefficient. lol Though a heavily pregnant car isn't going to be any travelling anyway.
Aw shucks, thanks Quin. Someday I'll release the AniMECH steel presentation. It's a comic of a TV program like 'how it's made' called "Inside the AniMech vault" hosted by the CEO. I'll show how they designed special steel, glass, and plastic that can bend when needed or go hard and rigid on the fly.

You're welcome!
Well, I really love the concept of how the different layers of the robo-eggs form the corresponding portions of each car (just like how different parts of an embryo develop into the corresponding body systems of an organism). I'm looking forward to the comic of how AniMech factories produce anthrocars. I'm really enjoying it so far.
To avoid copyright infringement, I'm gonna name my giant corporate conglomerate, ShaMech (it sounds very similar to "shaman", meaning, "one who knows"). However, I'll still acknowledge you and all the other living machine artists for the inspiration because this art is what really motivated me to start Race Within.
Yes, it would be so much more fun to actually have the ability to morph between anthro-, semi-anthro- and feral mode of one's favourite cars. I got inspired by the 1984 cartoon, Turbo Teen, and seeing transformation art of humans turning into cars and other machines. Also, the anatomy of cars and other vehicles are very similar to humans'. This reminds me of your comparison of a hot chick's butt to the rear of different cars.
I'm trying to show that we humans are what we drive. Our cars are extensions of our egos. It's how we harness them that influences their longevity and performance. If our lifestyles don't match our driving styles, how can we survive?
If you're interested, you can be one of the voice actors of the character(s), even of your favourite car(s) or other vehicle(s); but the show is far from finished. I've yet to even complete a drawing of Quincy himself.
Haha! Y'know, "Quin" really fits with the female version of my Civic EX-L, who's also extremely effeminate. I've been RPing with a friend and he changed Quincy's sex. I'll use "Quin" to refer to him—her during my next RP; and I'll give you credit for coming up with that name.

You know on yearly mass production it's done on big car farms, but at this point in the world's timeline the cars are kind of reproducing themselves out in the wild. Your car and the neighbors car fall in love? If both 'parents' (owners) approve, or in more sticky situations when the cars are doing everything in secret. The two have sex and with basically the same success rate as humans, and may or may not become pregnant. Cars have litters so they're usually having between 3-5 offspring, or more in rare cases. I used to have it in the lore that the offspring would be hybrids of the styles of the two parents but with more thought put into it that doesn't make sense as we've only ever seen normal non-hybrid styles of cars in the world. So the canon lore is that it's a 50/50 chance each offspring is either the make/model of the dad or the mom.
AniMECH gets their cut, legally the owners need to report any offspring born and pay them for the new cars (it's a fraction of the full price for a car) that or the babies can be sold to AniMECH for a profit and adopted out to new owners.
--
Yeah I know of Turbo, though I know of the disturbing Robot-Chicken skit based on it more. You don't have to tell me about the anatomy matching, I did a whole visual study on the similarities in my gallery.
i'm flattered, if it ever comes to that point in production I'd be happy to voice act for you. :)
Do you own a Civic EX-L irl? She your irl car?

I never knew so much about the story behind AniMech. Wow, man! It's extremely detailed! You put as much creativity into your writing as you do in your art! Thank for providing more in-depth information about them!
Also, all those who wish to animate and/or voice one or more characters will be payed for their invaluable efforts. I'm glad to hear you're interested. Another thing: No one's required to have their real name featured in the credits; they can choose to have a made-up one, instead.
My mother owns Quin the 2010 Civic EX-L. Once I finally get my Class 7 driver's license and a job, I'll finally get to claim Quin.

Oh there's tons of lore, mostly discussed with my friends on my discord. There's a guy there who's basically my lore scribe, he owns Zed the camaro IRL who you've seen my draw a few times here. Check out the 'sketches and diagrams' folder thats where lore stuff goes.
I'm a pretty decent actor at least when it comes to emulating other people's performances. XD though I'm not the type to record myself doing them because I die of self-cringe watching them lol. Ah okay, not a big deal but thanks for letting me know.
That's great, I'm sure you'll take care of him, hold onto him as long as you can you only ever get one first car. Lilly's my first car and we're still together.

That's really cool! Is it all right with you for me to join your Discord server? You and anyone else who's interested can join mine whenever.

I remember being impressed from listening to your dub of the song, "Worthless", from The Brave Little Toaster, especially how you can do so many different voices. It proves that you're very capable of portraying different voices. You could say you're part Mel Blanc.
Also, no one has to have a video of themselves voice acting for Race Within shown to the world. It's up to them.
Another really important thing: If there's any disturbing scene that any actor or actress feels disturbed to the point of not wanting to do, then there'll be no audio. Instead, the scene will be shown from the perspective of a CCTV system of cameras and/or from any number of witnesses. The same goes for my sci-fi war series, Peaks and Valleys.
Wow, that point you just made, "you can only ever get one first car", is quite wise. I'll never forget it. I'll have to give you credit for that one in my next Thoughtful Thursday post.
Unfortunately, Quin has a very slight bit of rust at the top of her left rear wheel well. Is there some way to remove it?

Yeah! I saw you're on my patreon, I guess you must have kinda snuck in. I'll send you an invite in a PM there, be happy to have you. I'll set you up with my lore-master.
Oh man, lol yeah one of those I'm talking about. Listened to it just enough to edit it lol too much cringe for me to handle. I know that if it's impromptu and I'm not being recorded I usually sing it better too. That's some high praise though thank you!
Thats very accommodating of you, I'll keep that in mind.
Well hey, I'm glad that it resonated with you like I hoped. It probably means more if you're actually OS and in a romantic relationship with them. But Lilly and I have kind of unique situation. Because she's my first car but she was also my families car since I was 14. So we have all this history of growing up together, she's watched me grow up and I've been with her since she was a baby. So it's kinda like we're childhood sweethearts, it adds a whole other level of connection there.
How bad is the rust? Is it still hard in the rusty spot? Kinda like a bubbled up scab? Or is it crunchy and actually rusted through like if you poked hard enough your finger would break through the rust? If it's still hard then that means there's still some healthy metal there. If you're lucky and its new enough it might just be surface rust. You can take a sander to it and sand the rust off till you get to the shiny metal. Then you'll immediately want to primer it and repaint it because bare metal will rust up again in no time. If you need time to find the right paint color thats fine, you can leave it just primer there for awhile that'll keep it from rusting.
If it's rusted through the only option is amputation, it's like a body part with gangrene, the metal is dead and is just going to break up and fall apart. You'll have to break up all the dead metal then take a cutting tool and trim around the edges of the hole till you hit good shiny metal. Then you'll need to use body filler.

All right, thanks for the offer!
Also, you're welcome for complimenting your voice acting!
I'd rather not force people to do something they don't want to do. I don't wanna be an ass hole and risk losing cast members because of my lack of respect of their boundaries. I've been forced to do things against my own will in my past. So, I don't want to be that way to others, but not allow it to happen to me.
It's hardened rust—no bubbling. So, I'll ask my grandfather to help with removing the rust (I live close to the ocean and in an area where road salt is heavily used). Thank you so much for the invaluable advice! Quin(cy) deeply appreciates it, too!

Holy, fuck! That's a gory skit! It definitely makes me terrified of drinking and driving! Though, Race Within isn't gonna be "sunshine and lollipops" all the time, either.

Since you sound interested in the lore, here's some more you might enjoy:
Mecha Car Ownership Ethics Lore:
The closest a human comes to owning a mecha-car is if they buy them as babies or kids. Essentially it's the equivalent of adoption and the amount of 'ownership' of the child that that grants. But it also comes with the same amount of responsibility as adopting a human child. You're responsible for their health, upbringing, and reported neglect and abuse will get them taken away from you get the law on you.
-Once the mecha car grows into a legal adult they have the legal right to separate from their human. But keep in mind that this car has grown up with you. How eager were you to move out on your own and fend for yourself? A car isn't even socially pressured to want to, and most aren't even made to work a job unless they want to make their own spending money to pay for things they want.. their duty of being a car is their 'employment' and 'service' to their family. Not saying there aren't some hard-ass humans that tell their cars they have to work and pay rent lol.. assholes.
-A car that's grown to adulthood, or a second hand adult car being adopted from a used car lot have a relationship similar to a marriage. Legally binding documents are signed, agreements are made. But they can be devorced at any time if they end up hating each other with all the pain in the ass procedures that entails. If it's the car that leaves their human, they're liable to pay the human back the price they payed to buy them. Though a well off car could hire the equivilant of a car divorce lawyer can get involved and fight on their behalf to get that obligation voided out.. Though depending on the circumstances the human always has the choice of not demanding that money back if they choose to (not that many probably do)
-An adult car who's owner dies is usually given 'freedom' as its usually something the owner has in their will, otherwise the car must pay their value to AniMECH to be legally 'free.' Though this is a very lax process usually dulled out in monthly low installments over a long period so it almost is more like a form of taxes.. after-which the federal government still considers cars 'property' so cars have to pay a property tax on themselves lol.

Well, yes, since I didn't even know about that in your anthro car world.
Race Within, on the other hand, doesn't have a separation of cars and humans, as well as all other kinds of vehicles. So, they all have the same rights when it comes to marriage.
Haha! I'm just imagining someone wanting to date a heavy-duty crane or a commercial tanker!

I wasn't sure if I should comment on this, or on https://www.furaffinity.net/view/46603296/, buut...
What would it take to make a portable womb, of sorts? Like, basically a more traditional 'egg' that could contain both the actual egg and the sperm, and allow the baby car to grow until it's ready to 'hatch', by the baby car, or maybe some nanites, or something, dissolving the 'shell' from the inside to complete the final touches to the baby until the 'shell' is too brittle and just dissolves?
The intent would be to have a way to implement male human impregnation. Yes, I know how cursed that sounds, but I suspect in this world you've created there'd be at least some interest.
