It's not new that Paul is a sea lover. After some days of hard work in his bar, it's definitely a great pleasure for him
to reach the Cypress beach, meet some friends of him here and enjoy the beach. However some other times, the
green gator enjoys a lonely spot he found, not so far from the beach, between rocks and grass, a little place were
he can simply watch the horizon lost in his thoughts. Impossible to know what he's thinking about actually.
His past? Future? Personal things? Or maybe he thinks about nothing and just enjoy this moment under the
warm sunlight and the little breeze...with always a soft smile illuminating his head.
Here is a new little drawing I did (few months ago in summer) to practice something I really wanted to try: Line-Less style.
So, as the previous pictures, as always I used once again my gator OC Paul for that sort of exercises. As usual, I love playing
with this greenie by putting him in many sort of situations. It also give me the opportunity to expend the background of Paul
by showing and explain some 'interesting' details of his life. For this picture I wanted to draw a deep peaceful moment in the
middle of nature. Surrounded by rocks, grass and water! It allowed me to try new things on water effects, grass color, wind
effects, lightning test...many many things WITHOUT lines. I actually sculpted this picture with many layers of color shapes.

I. This time of essence the preface of the sea gives way to new life and embodiment of what is meant to be. A young man vibrant in passion and entitlement of accomplishment feels the waves crash and the air whispering the path taken next. His ideals follow and guide him to new times of chase as the tide lower and rise with the surface, no longer suppressing him for the next chapter that comes
Everyone needs a nice relaxing time. :3 And Paul really seems like the guy that needs one badly, the poor guy works so hard.
Beautiful piece of art, it's so nice looking, and Paul looks so happy and relaxed. You're pretty good with the lineless style, the drawing looks great in this style. Was it harder to make?
Nice bright light from the sun and the water is awesome, you even added reflections. owo Love the detail of the texture of Paul's scales and the water on his body.
