This is Lt. O'mara she is the Raptor's science officer. This character was one of two created out of a mistake on my part. A while back I wrote a Novel for the Series that I have yet to publish here (because god forbid i do anything in order) and I wrote her in as a background character. I wasn't happy with that. So i started adding her into the series. She appears in most stories except for the first one and she's grown to be one of my favorite characters to write and over time has become one of the more developed. I'm not sure how my readers feel about her because in earlier stories she can be a bit annoying. She is an Avaian so in short a bird person from a bird planet. :P. I try to remember to give her something to do in the stories, with the Raptor being an Escort/Destroyer vessel, science is not really a priority, but she does the job when she's needed.
