Grandest of evenings to you, you end results of a failed mecha battle between meat-machines. I trust it's been a good one for you...? *listens intently* Fair enough.
I was going to get a few things off of my chest tonight, post up a couple images relating to why I've been a jot "on edge" the last week or so but I'm afraid the need for a shower and getting to work on time cuts our time together depressingly short.
Thus, something a bit more happy, yes? Yes.
Some of you might recall me mentioning Oralia before. I did a pencil charity comm for her a few months ago- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/27849743/ as well as this sketch image right here. Just a bit of fun, figuring out what style suited her image best.
My life has been a very ...VERY... unusual string of what I'm only loosely calling coincidences of late. *rubs her neck* Case in point, my friend Ora. I first met this New Mexico native online just maybe two months before my dearly beloved Sanita came into my life. She and I started talking about this and that, interests, worldviews, politics, absolutely dogged support of Satanism, artwork, etc etc etc- D.C. al fine. We held remarkably similar outlooks on many things, though as open as we are with each other, to say "there's a wall there" would be an understatement, poor dear. When I finally got to see her, was when things got particularly ... let's say "quirky".
And yes, before any of you cleverdicks suggest it, she already made the joke after seeing some of my art for Sanita... "Wow, Ashe. You certainly have a type."
Anypoop, just a bit of the happy before going into work. *winces, slumps* This month is pretty rough on me and I'm REALLY trying to keep it positive. Maybe I will just yet. Maybe we all will. Though with The Day of Remembrance approaching and the lovely, LOVELY landscape of politics in our nation currently, I wouldn't bet on it. *sighs in exasperation* Satan, save us all. Love yourselves and love one another. *raises her fist* Excelsior, Stan.
