I love seeing new artwork from new artists there's something so refreshing about this kind of thing. I am not much of an artist myself, I do 3d work rather than 2d stuff. That having been said, I love what I am seeing here, I know this was done with a how to guide but that shows technique it doesn't magically create talent or skill. This shows both the skills are just a matter of practice. Keep practicing, keep drawing, never stop and never let anyone tell you otherwise. This is a great start a great piece of work, and a lovely first few steps into the creative world, personally I'd love to see more.

I would consider 3d work a type of art. Also years ago I drew badly and decided I hated drawing because I drew badly. Not a good bunch of logic but I was a child.
